Insects!!! These tiny creeping creatures that hide in the most unexpected and inconspicuous corners.
There have been many horror movies about them and not too many comedies.
Few people like insects and it's no surprise because there are many insects that are harmful and even fatal for people and animals, and even if they are not, you just don't like them for what they are - minuscule monsters of every day life.
Spiders, wasps, bees, fleas, poisonous flies and hissing cockroaches - can be a big nuisance and even throw people in mortifying panic.
Well, I am here not to scare you out of shoes but to inform you about the objective perils that insects, and bedbugs in particular, can pose to unaware habitants of American houses.
Bedbugs are not as dangerous as other kinds of creepy creatures but nonetheless are not welcome in our homes.
Just the fact that you can be bitten and your blood will be sucked out by an intruder is not a comforting thought and reasonable people do not look for it.
However, this is not all there is to bed bug bites.
If you are worried about the possibility of bedbug infestation you are not alone and there are legitimate reasons for it.
All statistics shows that bedbug infestation is on the rise not only all over the USA but in the rest of the world too.
Let's look at some of the perils that you might confront in case of a bedbug infestation of your house.
You have probably heard some of these before.
Transmittable infectious agents.
Even though the level of infectious agents and the amount of saliva that will get into your skin is comparatively low for your immune system to fight back with success, you should be aware that what you get into your body cannot be called 100% safe matter.
Lesions that lead to irritation and itching.
This will come almost immediately and to everyone who was bitten.
Bed bug bites are not really so different from mosquito or flea bites and will often be accompanied with the same kind of itching and scratching.
Severe allergic reactions if bites persist over a long period of time.
Such dramatic symptoms will be present with people who are allergic to the chemicals that make up bed bug saliva and who are bitten for several weeks without proper treatment.
Live disease like HIV.
Even though there have not been reported any incidents of transmission, they cannot be completely excluded and not mentioned in this article.
The likelihood of this gruesome outcome is virtually zero but when you fight against these parasites, you should get as motivated as if they could infect you or your close relative.
You do not want to get into the world of statistics as the first ever case.
Blisters, minor tissue loss, and secondary infections when scratching.
Probable and inevitable if you sleep with these bugs in bed long enough.
