I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
We were traveling cross country with friends and then heading up to Alaska. We planned on spending five nights in the Seattle area. We found an RV park that boasted "large super sites." Imagine our surprise when we arrived, and the place turned out to be nothing more than a parking lot.
I thought we had accidentally pulled into an area where they stored RVs. The sites were only twenty feet wide, and the only grass is in the pet walk area. It was hot, which was compounded by sitting on the blacktop. They only had 30 amps available, even though we had requested 50. It was not enough to support our air conditioners. We both have dogs that would be left while we were out sightseeing. We found another campground, whose review will follow, and left immediately. I want to warn other RVers that this place is expensive and awful.
Pros: We did not stay long enough to find any.
Cons: It is a parking lot. I have had much better accommodations at Wal-Marts.
Nearby attractions: Seattle
Further comments:
I want to warn other RVers about this place. On the Internet and in their brochure, they make it look and sound beautiful.
