• In 1993, all models of the Toyota Tercel came equipped with a 1.5-liter displacement in-line four-cylinder engine. This engine had a bore of 2.87 inches and a stroke of 3.43 inches. • Toyota built all trim and body styles of the 1993 Tercel on the same platform. These cars spanned 161.8 inches in length with a 93.7-inch wheelbase. The 1993 Tercel stood 53.1 inches in height and had an overall width of 65.4 inches. Weight ranged from 1,950 pounds for the base coupe to 2,085 pounds for the LE with an automatic transmission. • Toyota installed a driver's side airbag in all trim and body styles of the 1993 Tercel. The company equipped the sedan models with height-adjustable front seat belts and offered four-wheel antilock brakes as an upgrade for all trims.
