How to Make Your Own Fly Repellent for Horses

    • 1). You will need a 32oz spray bottle. You will need to either purchase a new one or clean out an old one. Make sure if you use an old one that there are no traces of chemicals on the bottle or the nozzle.

    • 2). You can fill the spray bottle 1/4 full with water then fill the remainder of the bottle with apple cider vinegar.

    • 3). Once the mixture is in the bottle shake it up good. You are now ready to use it just you would a standard fly repellant for your horse. It works just as well as any expensive fly spray.
