Wouldn't it be wonderful to generate a great income and still stay home with your family? Wouldn't it be great to have the time to actually raise your children and teach them the morals and values that are important to you? Wouldn't it be great to go on field trips with your kids and participate in all the school functions? You can do that with your own internet business, but there are some important things to consider before you jump in.

There are a lot of "get rich quick" schemes and scams on the internet so do your research and look at a lot of different opportunities.
Use Google to search for keywords like "home based business," "work from home," "online business," "internet business or opportunity.
" One search may take you to another search and then to another search and you may lose track of a site you liked.
So be sure to write down the names of the programs that catch your eye so you can go back and find them again.

If it has too much hype on the landing page, (that's the page where you are asked for your name and email address before you can go any further) then it probably isn't going to be very professional once you get into the actual program.
A professional based program will look professional from the first page.

Once you are past the landing page, you will be taken to the inside of the program you are researching.
Stop and think before you go any further.
How do you feel so far? The reason I ask you to do that is because if you buy into this program, that landing page and the website you are reviewing will probably be the same website that the program will give you to do your marketing.
Will you feel good about promoting this site the way it looks? If you love building websites then this is no problem.
But if you are new to internet marketing then you are going to want to get started as soon as you decide on a program and/or product(s) which means you will probably be using the website you are researching.
4.
After reviewing the first page of the website you are researching and you want to move on to the next page, if you are stopped by a flashing sign that says you have don't to buy this product right now because it won't be offered again, get out of that website.
Chances are they will have a flashing sign to force you to make a decision right then and there or lose out forever.
This is only a trick to get you to buy.
It is called "using urgency to get the sale.
" If you keep buying in small increments, (another trick) you could be out hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars before you even know what you have bought.
5.
It is important to choose a legitimate program that provides training and support to its members.
Even better is to find one that provides FREE training and support.
I have come across a lot of programs where I have to buy the products, pay administrative costs, and then purchase more products to learn how to promote and market my product.
There are enough programs that are "newbie friendly" and you can get started for a lot less money.
6.
Almost more important than finding a legitimate program that you feel good about and that also provides free training, is to find a good mentor/coach that will be available to you after you have signed on and paid your money.
There is no point is shelling out your cash if you have little or no support afterwards.
I'm not talking about just being given a "training website" from your mentor where you go and try to follow their videos and suggestions.
You need to be able to talk to your mentor to get your questions answered and get the help you deserve.
There was one program I joined where I was able to talk to the inviter/mentor personally - I had his phone number.
However, once I joined I seemed to only get his voice mail and then emails in response to my phone calls.
It wasn't very helpful when I wanted answers to my questions right away.
One-on-one mentoring/coaching is the way to go.
Those are the basics to begin your online career.
You can do it.
A lot of people have been successful online (possibly people who aren't even as smart as you) and been able to generate more than they ever thought possible at a regular hourly-paid job.
