- Methane serves as the primary natural gas fuel for cars. However, some natural gas fuels also use biogas, which is a gas that rises up naturally from decomposing biological products often found in landfills. This natural gas also usually contains some carbon dioxide and nitrogen, which are compounds released by many living organisms through respiration. The natural gas stores in cylinders that are easy to store. Also, cars that run on natural gas do not need their lubricants replaced as often.
- Auto conversion kits allow car owners to convert their cars to run on a different kind of fuel. Compressed gas fuels are better for the environment than traditional fossil fuels such as diesel and gasoline. Also, these fuels are more available than other kinds of fuels.
