- 1). Disconnect the car's negative battery cable, loosening the clamp nut with your wrench.
- 2). Lower the steering column as far down as possible and then pull it out as far as it will go using the tilt lever.
- 3). Pull the arc-shaped cluster bezel surrounding the cluster straight out and towards you to remove it from its clips ad disconnect it.
- 4). Remove the instrument cluster's screws with your screwdriver, pull the cluster toward you and disconnect the electrical connectors to remove it.
- 5). Install the new cluster and gauges within the panel using the electrical connectors and screws.
- 6). Clip the trim bezel back in place over the gauge cluster and raise the steering column back into position.
- 7). Reconnect the battery cable.
