The most consecutive years that a golfer has finished in the Top 10 on the PGA Tour money is 17, and Jack Nicklaus is the golfer who holds that record. Nicklaus finished in the Top 10 in earnings every PGA Tour season from his rookie year of 1962 through 1978.
Here are top money list Top 10 streaks:
17 consecutive years
- Jack Nicklaus, 1962-78
13 consecutive years
- Tiger Woods, 1997-2009
11 consecutive years
- Arnold Palmer, 1957-67
- Vijay Singh, 1998-2008
Nicklaus' 17-year-streak of Top 10 money list finishes is even more impressive than it looks at first glance. In 1970, Nicklaus finished ninth. In every other season during his streak, Nicklaus was no lower than fourth on the season-ending money list.
For a long time it looked like Woods would catch Nicklaus. From his first full season (1997) through 2009 - 13 years in a row - Woods finished no lower than fourth on the money list (and led it nine times). But Woods' streak ended in 2010 due to injuries and personal issues.
