Safety Tests

• In the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration five-star safety tests, the Focus two-door model got four stars in the driver front, passenger front, and rear side tests, and three stars in the front side test. Engine

• The Focus has a 2-liter, in-line V-4 engine that produces 136 horsepower at 6,000 RPM. It features a multi-point injection fuel system, a 10 compression ratio, an 87.4 mm bore and an 83.1 mm stroke. The Focus generates 132 pound-feet of torque at 4,500 RPM.
