Tony Robbins says that it's not always the big things, the days, the weeks, the months that we remember with pleasure.
That it's the moments in our lives that count - the moment that your baby looks at you and smiles for the first time, the moment that he takes your hand..
...
whatever the moment is, it's precious and recognising the magic in those moments is priceless.
My mum always said that it's important to appreciate something special in every day - even if it's been a really challenging day - a magic moment or two make it all worthwhile:) I keep a note book of Magic Moments.
I like to write 5 Moments of Magic every day - whether it's as small as someone holding a door open for me, an everyday kindness that, while appreciated at the time can be soon forgotten in the bustle of the day.
I keep cinema stubs and concert tickets to stick into my Magic Moments notebook and write a little indicator of what was Magical about a moment in the evening or at the event.
Sometimes it's the big things, like the moment you open the envelope and see they've accepted you for that dream job.
Whatever it is that makes you smile in a warm glow from the inside out, that's Magic! What are your Magic Moments? It could be going to see the new Harry Potter Film with a loved one, sharing laughter on the phone with a friend, a smile from a stranger...
I'd love to hear your comments and thoughts, for you to share with us what makes a Moment Magical for you:) Wishing you many moments of magic.
