Conclusions


Larger increases in lumbar spine BMD after 2 years of treatment with BZA 20 mg/CE 0.45 mg and BZA 20 mg/CE 0.625 mg in postmenopausal women occur in those with higher bone resorption and formation at baseline and in those who showed an improvement in hot flush frequency and severity at 12 weeks.
