- This medicine has been known to cause menstrual periods to start after not having one for a long period of time. It also makes women more susceptible to bone fractures.
- Some common effects are sore throat, headache, muscle pain, runny nose and sneezing. If these persist or get worse, call a doctor.
- Some serious effects are shortness of breath, chest pain, blurred vision, pale skin, swelling or quick weight gain. You should call the doctor if any of these symptoms occur.
- Some highly rare effects are dark urine, persistent nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain and yellow eyes or skin. If any of these occur, call the doctor.
- An allergic effect will be itching, swelling of tongue or throat, dizziness, rash and shortness of breath. If you have these effects, call the doctor.
