- 1). Sit down on the seat of the bike facing toward the handlebars. Pull the choke all the way out from the bike.
- 2). Pull the throttle back a quarter-inch three times to prime the carburetor. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it clockwise to the start position. A green light will turn on when the battery is ready.
- 3). Pull the kick start out from the side of the engine. Push down on it three times with your foot to set the compression. Then kick down on it hard to start the engine. Allow the engine to run for a few seconds and then push the choke back into the engine.
