Dually Project Truck

• Toyota displayed the Dually Project truck at the SEMA trade show in both 2007 and 2008. Essentially, the truck is a hybrid of a high-performance exterior with a rugged interior. The diesel powerplant from a large, 35,000-pound diesel truck takes the place of the standard stock engine for a regular Toyota Tundra pickup truck. In addition, the engine was mated with an Eaton five-speed manual transmission and a Hino back end. This is a much more powerful driveline than standardly comes with a Tundra. In contrast, the interior of the truck boasts features such as hand-sewn leather seats, suede pillars and rear captain's chairs with individual DVD systems.
  
  

Tundra Sportsman

• Another modified Toyota Tundra truck was featured at the 2010 SEMA exhibition, known as the Tundra Sportsman. Billed as "an outdoorsman's dream rig," the Sportsman is outfitted with four wheel drive, a 5.7 V-8 engine and an automatic transmission. The truck has no bed, but instead features a 86 square-foot deck, upon which sits a hunting blind and camouflaged tent. Below the platform are three custom-designed storage modules built to store guns, outdoor clothing, camping gear and even a work bench.
  
  

Toyota Lift Kits

• Toyota lift kits help raise the suspension of Toyota trucks, providing better performance as well as a more imposing appearance. You can buy these kits and do the installation on your own. Manufacturers also tailor kits specifically to your specific car, ensuring that the lift system works with your vehicle in an optimum manner. The height of your lift kit can vary considerably, anywhere from one inch to seven inches, but most of them range between three and five inches.
  
  

Sleeping Platform

• If you are a camping enthusiast, it is very easy to modify your truck bed to provide a comfortable space in which for two people to sleep. Using a bed liner, wood, metal brackets, foam tape and foam board, you can make a comfortable and level sleeping platform. You also can store supplies inside the platform, which you can access through several doors built into the platform's floors.
