- 1). Go to the bacta tanks found in the Mos Eisley Cantina -- the central hub area of the game -- to access the create-a-character menu. These liquid-filled tubes can be found to the right of the bar.
- 2). Customize the character's head, cape, body, arms, hands, weapon, belt and legs. Accessorize by adding a hat or helmet. Choose which body part you'd like to customize by pressing up and down. Cycle through available body parts by pressing left and right.
- 3). Choose mechanical-looking body parts to create a droid character. As most of the body parts derive from existing Star Wars characters that you've unlocked in the game, try mixing and matching parts from droids such as C-3PO, R2-D2, IG-88, 4-LOM, Battle Droids or General Grievous.
- 4). Equip your droid with a lightsaber to create a Jedi droid or blaster to create a gunfighter droid. Equipping the droid with a bounty hunter or Stormtrooper head gives your custom droid access to special areas in the game.
- 5). Edit your droid's name from the create-a-character menu. Try including numbers and capital letters for an authentic-sounding Star Wars droid name.
- 6). Save your custom droid and exit the create-a-character menu.
- 7). Select your droid as your starting character on any level in free play mode to use it in the game.
