• "The Urbz: Sims in the City" takes the basic concept of the "Sims" franchise--quasi-realistic depictions of people with needs like hunger, energy and comfort--and brings it into a mission-based format in the setting of a city that's on the brink of being torn down by a greedy corporation. Once you complete the main missions, you'll be free to move around town and upgrade your apartment with new items for as long as you please, as well as play a variety of touch-screen minigames. Rep Group Items

• The game features four "rep groups"--nerdsies, richies, artsies and streeties--and if you max out your rep points (10 for each group), you can earn a special reward from each group. You'll earn points by frequently conversing with members of each group and performing errands for them (which will also net you some quick cash). The richies will reward you with a sensory deprivation chamber, which quickly fills up hunger, bladder, energy and other motives as soon as you enter it. The artsies offer a bod mod booth, which lets you change your Sim's hair and skin color. The nerdies offer a mad skillz cerebral data infuser, which raises one skill point for your Sim (you can use this only once per day). The streeties offer the ultimate mp-dee stereo system, which allows you to play any song found in the game from your Sim's apartment.
  
  

Secret Storage Areas

• If you find your Sim has too much stuff and you don't want to sell it, you can gain extra storage space by maxing out your relationships (100 percent) with a few key characters. You'll earn yourself a garbage can near Club Xizzle if you become best friends with Phoebe Twiddle. A good relationship with Ewan Watahmee will earn your Sim a hidden cave near the docks. Your Sim can be the proud owner of a broken-down school bus near the thrift shop if you have a perfect relationship with Giuseppi Mezzoalto. You can keep your Sim's extra things in a projection booth at the Glasstown Cinema if you become best friends with Theresa Bullhorn. The best way to max out your relationship with these characters is to talk to them frequently and run errands if requested.
  
  

Glitches

• The game features a few problematic glitches that can mess up your saved game. For instance, if you sell all of your apartment's trash early on the game, you'll be unable to complete an important mission for the artsies later, which forces you to completely restart your saved game. The key to the richie clubhouse will stop working after a while, and you'll need to sell it and acquire a new one. Attempting to enter the time machine or hoverboard while controlling your pet will cause the game to freeze and force a restart.
