When you first start your home based business you are excited and you jump in with both feet.
You talk to all of your friends and family and even sponsor a couple and when you run out of your warm market and approach your cold market, you start to see that things are not the same.
It is not as easy to talk to people you don't know like it is when you talk to your warm market, you start to get confused about what you are suppose to do and you start to rethink if this business is right for you.
Don't feel bad, I was in the same situation you were in now.
The reason why you feel this confusion is because you don't have system.
See, when you were excited about your business, you did not have to figure out how you were going to talk to your friends and family about your business opportunity, you just made a phone call with so much excitement and they were able to see your passion and it was easy for them to make a decision.
In the cold market, you need a system.
You need a way in which you are going to connect with your prospects.
You have to have a way to capture their attention.
In order to do that you have to be specific about who your prospects are.
They can be teachers, business owners or professionals.
Once you know who you are going to target, you have to find out what their biggest problems are and how you can solve them.
It might be that they don't get paid enough in their profession or their job requires them to work long hours, or they might have to travel a lot.
Whatever the situation, you want to make sure that you know and fully understand their problem.
After, you want to express to them how you can help them solve it.
This is where your opportunity comes in.
You have to answer the question "how would your opportunity solve their situation fast" if you can answer that question, then the only thing you have to do is pick a medium whether online or offline or both and communicate to that message to your target audience.
Doing this will help you ease the confusion in your home based business.
You will now start to see what works and what does not work in your cold market and start to improve where necessary.
