Hiking will give you the benefit of exercise and getting fresh air, both of which are recommended for you.
The good side effect of hiking is that you will get some sunlight, which has been known to combat seasonal affective disorder.
Studies have also shown that having a pet can increase your mood.
Just being able to pet it or having some loving company can do wonders.
Your pet will love you no matter what who you are, or what you have done.
They don't care, they just want to see you happy.
If you are still in a lousy mood after doing some of these things then you might want to try what is known as the "happy dance".
It should be noted that when you do this dance, you are going to feel quite foolish and that is what you are going for.
The first thing you do for the happy dance is stomp around your house as you are clapping your hands at the same time.
While you are doing this you will want to laugh as loud as you can with a ha, ha, ha.
