The service of librarians is a noble profession in the developed countries. They are main resources to develop human mankind. The library service has emerged as a important service for the students, researchers and scientists. Today, more than ever, libraries and librarians are extremely important for the preservation and improvement of our culture. Librarians are indeed very important in servicing their visitor. In this profession a person to be librarian must have university degree on the library profession as M.A degree/ PHD etc. He has to acquire vast knowledge on compute. The library is being equipped with Computer with internet connection, laser printer and scanner machine. Although libraries are indispensible part of the society, they receive fewer honors than a doctor and an engineer does in the least developing countries. They did not have better salary scale having to promotion provision. They have no job satisfaction. The status of librarian is not defined in the society.

Libraries are various types such as Public Library, Academic Library and special library Medical library engineering library falls into the category of special library. Most of the educated society including doctors, engineer, lawyers students, researchers and scientist served in the differ rent professions are using these libraries. The Govt. can utilize the library designed to create a healthy environment in the society.

Young generation is the pillar of the nation. Future of the nation depends on them. We observe drug, violence and sexual harassment more or less prevails in the society.  We have to be treaded more careful taking our young generation from these evil things. If Society and govt.  make this generation inclined towards the library. They will find there a lot of books displaying different subjects including religious, historical and literature books etc. They build up their habit into book reading acquiring knowledge of different subjects .This will help creating a healthy society. Some times news appears in the local daily some villages and some locality have come under terrorism or drug addiction. Govt. sends police force to address the situation capturing person concerned with it. It is a good measure indeed. Another measure can be taken is opening up more and more library there. Young generation will be visiting library and accustomed to study. The evil persons fail to convince them to act in favor of them. So library service may help to build up a healthy society to a great extent.

Librarians are key players to conduct the library service. They should not be denied providing better salary scales, promotion and as many facilities as other professionals offered.
