2011 was a year of leaps and bounds for our technology. More than usual remote controlled devices, robots, gaming console, and mobile devices, it was the year where a lot of new gadgets emerged on the market. But for the year 2012, a lot of us are expecting more of these things to come. Today, our technology seems limitless that almost everything can be done.
Top Gadgets for 2012 to look forward
Not after a year when ipad 2 was released, there are already rumors about the release of ipad 3 for the year 2012. Although there were no official statements from Apple, different tech forums are discussing the great possibility of a quick release following the success of ipad 2. A few tech groups said aside from having a better and faster CPU, ipad 3 will also have a better HD screen and SD card slots.
Aside from the ipad, different tech reviews also has a widespread rumor of the upcoming Apple iphone 5. It might've been too early for it, but still a lot of iphone fanatics are ecstatic about the idea of having the 5th gen. The rumored features are a few software and hardware updates, a flash camera, water proof and fire proof, and better software surprises just like the Siri of 4s.
Of course gaming platforms would also have their own share of improvements, especially hand held consoles. Sony released their true successor of the Playstation Portable after the release of PSP GO was almost a total failure. It was first released in Japan on December 2011, and made its way to NA, EU, and AU market this February of 2012. There were also rumors of an upcoming Nintendo Wii hand held console. Although no other details were given, the company's USA president, for the record, said the new console will not be launched till after April 1 2012.
Smart phones were widely introduced in 2011. But Sony Ericsson had better ideas for a smart phone when they made integrated their top of the class Xperia and a hand held gaming console. To top it all, it's the first smart phone to be Playstation Certified. This kind of integration has made the Xperia a versatile phone for all ages. Kids can use it for video games, teens could use it for social networking, and the parents, well, pretty much the business needs that they want a phone to address.
