- 1). Lay a black sheet of craft foam on a hard, flat surface such as a table or counter top.
- 2). Use scissors to cut out a skull shape, two hand shapes, two foot shapes and one hip bone shape from white craft foam. You can use a template if you need to.
- 3). Glue the skull, hands, feet and hips onto the black craft foam with rubber cement, placing the skull at the top center of the sheet, the hips about halfway down the sheet at the center, the hands about halfway down the sheet, one on the left side and one on the right side and the feet at the bottom of the sheet.
- 4). Measure the length from the base of the skull to the hips with a ruler. Cut a strip of white yarn this length and glue it to connect the skull to the hips, making your skeleton's spine.
- 5). Measure and cut two two-inch strips of yarn, one three-inch strip of yarn and three four-inch strips of yarn. Use rubber cement to glue these towards the top of the spine to make the rib cage, first glueing one two-inch strip, then three four-inch strips, one three-inch strip and the last two-inch strip.
- 6). Measure and cut four four-inch strips of yarn. Glue one strip to each hand at the wrists and moving downward towards the chest. Connect the other two strips to the bottom of the first two strips and the top of the chest area to make skeleton arms.
- 7). Measure the length of the hips to each foot and cut these lengths in yarn. Cut each yarn strip in half to show the divide of the calf and the thigh. Glue the yarn leg strips connecting the hips to the feet.
- 8). Glue white beads along the yarn of the skeleton for decoration if you'd like.
