Overcoming the Big "P" to Keep Your Business Moving Forward

What is the one thing that will always halt businesses growth? It is procrastination.
Procrastination represents one of the biggest obstacles for internet entrepreneurs to accomplish their goals.
It is especially hard for new internet business owners to get started after working in the corporate world for years.
They are used to employer's deadlines and now they must familiarize themselves with driving their own businesses and taking the driver's seat.
What are some of the issues that stop us from completing our goals and how can we beat this? Fear Especially with new entrepreneurs, fear of failure can cripple them and put them in a "paralysis of analysis".
This holding pattern keeps people from fulfilling their goals because they are afraid of making mistakes.
Some do not even realize their fear, yet it is evident when they over-analyze tasks to such a degree that they do not even begin tackling them.
Observe your actions and see if you are making any excuses for spending so much time preparing for a task.
Failure is a necessary part of any business.
Learning from mistakes is the fuel that makes businesses grow.
The only time you will truly fail is if you give up even before you try.
Planning and Overwhelm Did you ever think about how BIG a task is and feel completely overwhelmed? When you feel stressed about the insurmountable task ahead of you, nothing will get done.
Break down each task into modules.
These modules will be unique to every person.
They should represent something you feel you can accomplish and also detail how you will get there.
When you complete the first module, regardless of how small, you will feel proud and have a little more motivation to tackle the next one.
Prioritizing If you are looking at a number of to-do's in front of you, you must organize them into priorities so you do not feel overwhelmed and mentally crippled.
Arrange them into high, middle, and low priorities.
Tackle the high ones first and work your way down.
Don't be afraid to re-shuffle them if new ones come up.
Try and exhibit a little flexibility within your structure for the best results.
Accountability If all else fails, you may need a jumpstart from someone you trust.
Assemble a task list and give it to a friend or family member.
Ask them to check with you at the end of each day to see if you completed your list.
Tell them not to accept excuses! Once you get into this routine, you can wean away from the accountability and go on your own.
You can beat procrastination.
If you stop labeling it as a negative and look beyond the blocks you are feeling, you can accomplish your goals.
In my "Accelerated Internet Success System" I teach you how to work smarter, instead of harder.
By working smarter, you can easily visualize the tasks as completed before you start and apply these methods.
Stay consistent and before long you will become the driving force behind your business.
