The Frys.com Open is part of the PGA Tour’s Fall Series. It came to Scottsdale in 2007. Frys.com is the web site of the title sponsor, Fry’s Electronics. The event has a $5 million purse, with the winner getting $900,000. Many of the top PGA golfers participate. Golfers committing to play in 2009 include Mike Weir, David Duval, Stuart Appleby, Chad Campbell, Tom Lehman, defending Frys.com Open champ Cameron Beckman, Mark Calcavecchia, Billy Mayfair, Kirk Triplett, Rocco Mediate, Michael Allen and Ricky Barnes.

Where is the Frys.com Open?

The Frys.com Open is played at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here is a map and directions to Grayhawk Golf Club. Free public parking is available on Hayden Road, just south of the Loop 101. Shuttles will take fans to the tournament entrance at Grayhawk Golf Club.

How do I get tickets and how much are they?

Daily general admission is $25 per day. Weekly badges are $50 each. Children ages 17 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Unless sold out, tickets will be available at the gate during tournament week. Advanced daily general admission tickets may be purchased online.

Are there any single ticket discounts available?

All law enforcement, firefighters, and military personnel are free when they show their official department or ID badge.

What else should I know about the Frys.com Open?

Practice rounds are closed to the general public.

The Pro-Am is open to spectators, and is the only day that the public may bring cameras into the event. All four rounds, Thursday through Sunday, are scheduled to be televised live on The Golf Channel. Typical rules and etiquette for PGA events apply.
