Create a healthy meal plan for yourself from the foods that you like that will control your blood sugar and stick to it.
Make wise choices for your meals and eat then on a schedule.
If you are on insulin usually an evening snack would be indicated for you.
Remember that the highs and lows of blood sugar can be avoided if you are consistent in your treatment of diet, exercise and medications.
The proper diet in the proper amount can go a long way to keep your blood sugar levels normal, lose excess pounds, feel better and prevent complications of diabetes.
