Mood Understanding

I have always been on the receiving end of someone's bad mood, whether it is at work, home or with strangers.
I am constantly making excuses for them and moving on.
I would love to be able to see why there are receivers ie people like me and the providers (of bad moods) who seem to have sole rights to 'let it all hang out- so to speak', without worrying about upsetting anyone else.
Would this behaviour come from being selfish or is it from a lack of self control.
Is there some difference in brain functioning between the two behaviours (the receiver and the provider)?.
Is the receiver actually of stronger stuff to have more self control and understanding or should they confront the 'provider'?.
Although the 'bad moods' can become a habit, from experience, it is best to let things go and not confront the 'provider'.
The 'unrest' that comes with being in a bad mood habitually, creates ill health and sadness and there is a constant need to be 'right' and you actually need to feel sorry for them.
I feel so lucky that I am one of those people who is able to let things go.
I continue to find reasons for these people ie foods, perhaps there is a malfunction of the chemical activity in their brain, perhaps they have low self esteem or maybe it gives them some form of control.
If only they could try the other behaviour of letting things go, they would in fact feel a sense of pride and superiority and a huge sense of peace.
Getting people to believe that they would actually have these nice feelings if they did not react aggressively is the difficult bit.
The fear of losing their 'position' or perhaps a feeling of having given in to someone usually stops them.
Meanwhile, the 'receiver' plods on making excuses for them and accepting that we are all different and that is what life is all about.
Thank God for 'receivers' as without them, life would be pretty chaotic.
We bring some equilibrium to it.
We already have the upper hand by naturally having self control and understanding and no need to prove our position.
We are already 'in charge' in our quiet and humble way.
So, I have now come to the conclusion 'that moody lot' don't know what they are missing, good health, peace of mind and a wrinkle free face from not continually frowning.
