It can affect one eye only via having many signs.
The eye migraine symptoms include: 1- Flickering lights and interferes with the vision ability 2- Temporary blindness 3- Zigzag lines 4- Blurred vision 5- Temporary one eye blindness.
It is just a spot out of the affected eye in the center or the peripheral sides.
Eye migraine may be accompanied by a headache, but this is a rare case.
There are many physical symptoms of the eye migraine such as vomiting, light sensitivity, nausea, fatigue and heightened sounds.
Why does this eye headache type happen? The eye migraine symptoms attack two parts of your head: the eye itself and the center of the visual functions in the brain.
It is resulted from the spasm of the eye blood vessels.
People who are more susceptible to have an eye headache are the following: 1- Men and women under the 40 ages 2- Females in general ( doctors have shown that more ladies suffer from eye headache than males ) 3- A person who has a medical history of one of the following diseases: epilepsy, sickle cells disease ( it is a disease of the blood cell's genes that gives an abnormal structure of the body blood cells and the vessels will prevent their passing ), migraine and depression.
There are many triggers of this eye headache such as salty foods, stress, caffeine, cheeses, chocolates and other mono sodium glutamate foods.
