Irish Pubs in Long Beach, CA

Long Beach, CA seems to have almost as many Irish pubs, bars and restaurants as there are Mexican restaurants - almost! And definitely more than any other Southern California city. There are a couple Irish bars on Long Beach's Dive Bar Row on 4th Street and a few in Downtown Long Beach and scattered around the city, but a one mile stretch of 2nd Street through Belmont Shore and Naples has the greatest number of Irish pubs per yard. Here's a list from south to north.

1. The Tilted Kilt at the Marketplace

A franchise of the Celtic-themed Las Vegas restaurant with scantily kilted waitresses.

2. Kelly's Restaurant

Don't let the Irish name and green awnings deceive you. Kelly's of Naples serves a wide variety of steaks, seafood, sandwiches and continental cuisine, from escargot to Kobe beef hot dogs, with only a few Irish items on the menu. It's a big space, but still has a warm pub-like feel to it.
