- Pokémon are animals that live within a fictional world, each having unique characteristics and abilities. Players act as Pokémon trainers tasked with finding, catching and training Pokémon for battles against other trainers. With its tagline, "Gotta catch 'em all," Pokemon has grown from a television series and trading card game into a media empire including a series of video games. In addition to battling other trainers, players can also trade Pokémon with other players to expand their respective collection of Pokémon.
- Played on the Nintendo Wii, players begin their journey as a young hunter in a barbaric tribe. The player must prove himself or herself to the tribe by becoming a successful hunter. On missions, the player will be tasked with trapping or slaying beasts that roam the land. Monster Hunter Tri has both single-player and multi-player modes where the player can team up with other hunters via an online network or offline.
- Farm Frenzy is a downloadble computer game. The bulk of Farm Frenzy's gameplay lends itself to running a farm, which includes feeding animals, buying supplies and other duties. But, this game also forces the player to cage predators that bring harm to the farm. When predators like bears and other beasts appear, the player has to cage the animal by repeatedly clicking on it before it is too late. Players can purchase upgraded cages to make caging animals easier.
- Jambo! Safari: Animal Rescue simulates the life of a safari ranger, with some playful twists. As a ranger, players are tasked with helping tourists and keeping the animals safe and healthy. Often, players will need to capture an animal using ropes, nets and a lasso to bring the animal into the care facilities for treatment. Treatment often involves mini-games like picking insects off of an animal's body and other activities as well.
