WRX Cobb Tuning Downpipe

Gain more power and reduce turbo lag from your Subaru WRX or STi.
Adding a Cobb Tuning Down-pipe opens the diameter of exhaust for better flow coming out of the turbo, a down-pipe unleashes power where the stock restrictive unit lacks.
The Cobb down-pipe is designed for optimal performance, durability, and features full 304 Stainless Steel construction.
Starting from the turbo the exhaust gasses enter a cast stainless steel bell mouth housing that utilizes internal shapes impossible to create with standard tubing.
Cobb Tuning choose this design feature to specifically to reduce turbo lag, improve low-end torque, and offer superior durability in high Horsepower, high temperature uses.
A great benefit is the reduction of exhaust noise entering the cabin common with the thin-walled tubing used in nearly all other downpipes on the market.
A Cobb down-pipe combined with the performance tuning found in the Cobb Access-PORT is the first step to any Wrx enthusiast looking to unlock the potential of their boxer engine.
The Cobb down-pipe comes in two version.
The Street, and Race version.
The Street version begins with a cast bell mouth section that creates exhaust gasses to flow smoothly through 3 inch mandrel bent stainless steel piping into a state-of-the-art metallic catalytic converter.
The catalytic converter flow so well they pose virtually no HP reduction on most street cars.
The Race version does not include any catalytic converter at all.
This system replaces both the stock down-pipe section and final catalytic converter section.
Also comes with an auxiliary O2 sensor bung located near the turbo in a position that's easy to reach from the engine compartment for wide-band O2 sensor use during tuning sessions.
All flanges, hangers, O2 sensor bungs, casting and piping are constructed 100% from 304SS.
Down-pipe features:
  • Significantly reduce turbo lag
  • Gain Horsepower
  • Improve low-end torque
  • full 304 Stainless Steel construction
  • Tigg welds
  • Cast stainless steel bell mouth housing
  • State-of-the-art metallic catalytic converter
  • Comes in two versions Street, and Race version
