- 1). Hold the electrical connector in one hand. Look on the side of the connector and try to locate any locking tabs that may be in place. Remove the locking tabs using the hook tool.
- 2). Locate the wire on the electrical connector that you want to remove. Flip over the connector and locate the hole on the other side of the wire on the electrical connector which holds the terminal for the wire.
- 3). Stick the narrow tipped tweezers into the hole on the electrical connector while simultaneously pulling on the wire you wish to remove. Pull on the wire and push with the tweezers until the terminal is released from the electrical connector.
